Films of 2008

This year is still under construction and there are many MANY films from 2008 that I have yet to see, but so far my verdict is that this was not a very exciting year at the movies. It was a busy year for me which is why there are only a measly 57 films on the list so far. It also seems to be a year in which I mostly went for pictures about ageing malcontents going through a some kind of catharisis--did this have something to do with my 30's coming to an end, or were the movies about young people just week this year? I'll have more to say when I catch up on the films in my Not Yet Seen list for 2008.
