Disney's ninth animated feature is (like the three that proceeded it) a package of short films the studio made during World War II. This collection of two main stories, Mickey and the Beanstalk and Bongo is loosely tied together with live-action segments featuring ventriloquist Edgar Bergen and his creations Charlie McCarthy, and Mortimer Snerd. The uneven movie is worth seeing for a few delightful sequences.
