Even by the low standards of the aging-galpals-go-on-a-madcap-adventure genre, this "true story" about four seniors who go to the 2017 Superbowl to cheer on the football star they view as a personal totem is especially disgraceful. When actors of this age and caliber consider doing a film like this, do they ever ask themselves, "What if this is my last movie?" Maybe you don't have a six-decade career if you think like that. But still... how could any of these stars (and cultural forces) risk this piece of cynical corporate propaganda being the final entry of their filmographies?
