Laurent gives a gripping, emotional performance as a woman who discovers she's trapped in a cryo-chamber running out of breathable air with only her wits and a not always helpful computer to assist her. But the claustrophobic real-time premise is spoiled by Aja’s misguided reliance on showing what's happening inside the protagonist's mind rather than embracing the restrictions of the coffin-like container and its infinitely searchable hard drive.
